“ I came on a Saturday evening and had a good time! This place is perfectly located in a great location next to San Pedro Square and although I've walked past it, this was my first time actually trying out the food. We got a the French dip sandwich and the cheese burger which came with extra crispy fries. I love my fries extra crispy so I enjoyed them a lot. The cheese burger and French dip were good. Although they weren't necessarily amazing, I thought it was okay for what it was. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. It's not anything special where I'd be back solely for the food but due to convenience, location, and good atmosphere, I'd definitely be back with my fiance or with friends! ”

“ Came here for lunch during the week and was able to get seated right away. It was great to get the fast sit down and then followed up by prompt and speedy service by waiter. While I enjoyed my brisket sandwich special, some in my party found the food just ok. Ultimately it was a decent meal, didn't mind the food and service was good ”

“ service was good - waiter came back a few times to ask how we were doing fries are definitely better imo without the Cajun ish powder - though they were definitely quite salty there was a pool of oil on my plate today - not sure what it was from backside of egg was kinda black - it was black last time too but I'd thought it was a one-off - maybe something is rubbing off from the pan? avg po'boy - lil dry mule was pretty standard bees knees was really heavy on the honey - too sweet/thick for me :( all in all maybe 3.5 stars but I guess I'll round up? ”

“ I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this place and the portion sizing. This is not to say that the portion sizes were big. This is more the things that I thought we're gonna be bigger portion were smaller than what I assumed and vice versa. The ones that I thought we're gonna be smaller. We're bigger portions. 3/4 of my table, ended up ordering the same thing. I do not know if we are all on the same page, but I felt that my steak was a little bit dry and not what I was hoping for nor accustomed to. I will say the onions were grilled too perfection and that the Portabella mushrooms were great. I did, however, know that my mashed potatoes were not necessarily mash, but more chunked and the chipotle butter was very iffy for me. I don't think it made or broke the mail, I really think the stake would've been fine with or without it. The fondue was a nice surprise and a really big portion. But I don't think it is something I would order again. The rib appetizer ended up being too sweet for me, and I would definitely pass on it in the future. This place is two stories in my group was lucky enough to be seated alone upstairs as it was a catch-up between friends and it was nice to have a place where we could all just talk and not be distracted by everything that was going on downstairs. Our waitress did a really good job of checking in on us, which was nice. Parking here is a bit hard as it is technically in downtown in the San Pedro market. So I would recommend parking in the garage closest to the old spaghetti factory. Just to get a parking spot and not be rushed. From there you walk about 2 to 3 minutes and you're all set. ”

“ Came in for lunch on a not busy Monday. Our server was very attentive and kind. The menu isn't the most expansive, but there are still plenty of options. I ordered the tomato soup, which was plenty for me. It was warm and comforting. Not the best soup I've ever had, but delicious nonetheless. I also shared an order of fries that came with sort of spicy mayo sauce that you must try. My friend also ordered the tacos which she said were very good. I can't speak for dinner, but a great choice for a quick lunch in downtown San Jose. ”

“ I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was so good! The portion is huge compared to how affordable the plate was. I love how the grill cheese was not dry at all. As for the tomato soup, it was good but can be a little too savory. The fries were also delicious and perfectly crunchy! Our waiter was also very nice and I loved the warm, friendly, ambiance of the restaurant. ”
